Silver Ocean is the modern chapter of a family jewellery house that began in 1951. We design and curate Certified 925 Silver Jewellery for everyday wear, gifting and personal milestones, from our showroom on Zanzarda Road in Junagadh, Gujarat, and online across India.
Our heritage: SKKL, since 1951
In 1951, in the village of Shapur (Sorath), our great-grandfather began crafting made-to-order gold and silver jewellery by hand. That workshop became SKKL, Soni Karshanji Kurji Lodhiya, a name trusted across the village and nearby towns. Over the next generations the family moved into ready-made jewellery, while keeping the same values: purity, hard work and honesty.
From Shapur to Junagadh
In 2014, after completing a BCA, Hardik Lodhiya returned to the family business to learn from his father and grandfather, and later trained in modern jewellery-making at Hunner Sala in Rajkot. He renovated the family store with a more welcoming, customer-friendly layout, and the response confirmed that customers valued a modern experience built on old-fashioned trust.
By 2023, Hardik saw younger customers turning to lightweight, stylish 925 silver jewellery that the family store didn't offer. Together with his childhood friend Hemal Devani, he set out to build a dedicated premium silver brand. Silver Ocean opened on 9 March 2025 on Zanzarda Road, Junagadh.
